The festival aims to honor fine artworks created by young Vietnamese painters, sculptors, and artists aged 18-35. It would take stock of artists' creative work and composition process and showcase excellent works of painting, graphic art, sculpture, installation art, performance art, and other forms of contemporary art created by young artists in the two years from 2022 to 2024.
It is expected that 200 to 250 paintings will be selected to participate in the exhibition held in Hanoi in the 4th quarter.
The Youth Fine Arts Festival demonstrates the government's interest in Vietnamese fine arts and local young painters, sculptors, and artists and satisfies the public's thirst for cultural and artistic appreciation.
The painting entitled "Perspective" by Tran Thi Thu Hanh wins the third prize of the sixth Youth Fine Arts Festival. |
The festival is also a good opportunity for young artists to expand cultural exchanges, share experiences and creative artistic perspectives, and contribute to building and promoting the country's arts industry.
Creative works on contemporary life without copyright infringement would qualify. Entries must not have been previously displayed at other national exhibitions organized by the Ministry of Cultural, Sports and Tourism. More information about the event can be found at www.ape.gov.vn.
