Hanoi to implement vocational training for rural laborers by December 20

The Hanoi People’s Committee Office has just issued the Official Letter No. 11742/VP-KGVX on asking relevant departments, sectors to implement the direction of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Under the Official Letter, the Municipal People’s Committee received the Announcement No. 9611/TB-BNN-VP dated November 17 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on implementing the conclusion of the Deputy Minister Tran Thanh Nam at the conference on vocational training for rural laborers.


The Hanoi People’s Committee is asked to direct the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to perform full state management duties in vocational training for rural laborers; take prime responsibility and cooperate with relevant sectors and localities to make an annual plan for approval; focus on vocational training for agricultural labors and social welfare for areas in difficult circumstances; effectively use the funds from the central and mobilize capital resources from local budgets and enterprises; assign targets and funds to People’s Committees of suburban districts to train agricultural vocation for policy beneficiaries.



 
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is responsible for cooperating with aid funds, banks to carry out programs on production development so as to improve the quality of vocational training; boosting inspection, supervision of vocational training for rural labors.

Regarding the above matters, the Municipal People’s Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to chair and coordinate with Departments of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Finance, Investment and Planning and relevant units to implement the suggestion of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Plan No. 73/KH-UBND dated March 30, 2017 of the Municipal People’s Committee and give a report to the Municipal People’s Committee before December 20, 2017.
