The Hanoi People’s Committee received the proposal of Hanoi Promotion Center on sending mission to Vietnam International Agriculture Fair 2017 in Can Tho. The fair will take place from November 23 to 27, offering 300 stalls and a number of side events, such as conferences, workshops, seminars to call for cooperation and investment, and scientific and technical consultancy services.

Under the plan, Hanoi’s stall will cover an area of 108 square meters, introducing city’s achievement in the fields of agriculture and rural development, farm products, varieties, agricultural supplies and handicraft products. Moreover, there will be stalls of eight Hanoi units and enterprises.
Various items will be offered at the fair, such as catalogues and publications on city’s potential and strength in the field of trade, investment and tourism, photos of city’s progress in agriculture and rural development, and featured products of Hanoi.
Priority is given to following commodities: machines and equipments for agriculture, typical varieties and domestic animals of Hanoi, farm products and processed farm products of Hanoi, and featured products of occupation villages, especially silk of Van Phuc Village, lacquer items, handicrafts, and traditional villages of processing farm products.
In response to the proposal, the Hanoi People’s Committee gives approval in principle, and assigns the Ha Noi Promotion Center in cooperation with Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Finance, relevant associations, enterprises and units to perform the task.
