Hanoi to promote the development of private economic sector

Hanoi People`s Committee has recently issued the Plan No.60 to implement the Action Program No.16 of the municipal Party Committee.

The Action Program No.16 of Hanoi Party Committee is to implement the Resolution 05 of the Party Central Conference on "Some major policies to renovate the growth model and improve the economic  growth quality, productivity and competitiveness" and the Resolution No.06 on "Deploying effectively the economic integration process in order to remain the social and political stability in the context of the country's participation in the new free trade agreements".

Under the plan, Hanoi targets to further develop its economy and control the consumer price index rising on average 5% per year.
In the period of 2016-2020, about 35-40% of businesses in the city will have innovation activities every year. Hanoi city aims to raise its social labor productivity by 6.5% per year.
In order to fulfill these goals, the city intends to carry out synchronously its tasks and solutions, including the strong development of the private sector in terms of quantity and quality, which is considered to be an important driving force in economic development.
In addition, the capital city will renew the way of linking and coordinating among localities in regional economic development.
Hanoi aims to improve the capacity, efficiency and effectiveness of state management.
Besides, Hanoi is planning to build suitable mechanisms and policies to promote the city's prestige, enhance competitiveness and international economic integration capacity attached to the protection and promotion of cultural and environmental values.
