On August 31 afternoon, Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung chaired the briefing conference for the City`s departments and branches, to assess the results of performing the socio-economic tasks in August, driving key tasks in September, 2016.

The new investments bring the total FDI projects in the city to 3,686 with total capital of 24.07 billion USD. The city’s industrial production in the first eight months of this year increased 7.8 percent compared to the same period last year while the Consumer Price Index rose 2.25 percent year on year.
Leaders of departments at the event discussed ways to help businesses access capital while promoting administrative reform to improve the investment climate, exports and promote start-ups in the locality. The city will also bolster information technology application, and introduce a one-stop-shop mechanism in public services.
Actively implementing the work content to serve businesses and start-up ecosystem in September, 2016, in order to remove difficulties for enterprises and startups to create movement in the city. Well preparing regional cooperation conference in the northern and Red River deltas, expecting key economic sectors in October, 2016.
The levels, branches and mass organizations actively work to well organize information and propaganda, keeping key issues to accurate information, timely on the guidelines, mechanisms and the City's policies, in order to block consensus and strength of national unity, successful implementation of the political tasks of the city. In the immediate future, it needs to focus activities to celebrate 71 years of National Day (September 2) to ensure safety, so that the People can play in exciting, and meaningful way. Preparing for the start of the new school year of 2016 - 2017, according to regulations and ensure meaningfulness.
