Hanoi unveils space promoting local brands

The venue will serve as a dedicated center honoring the finest Vietnamese brands and linking them with consumers via both in-person experiences and online channels.

THE HANOI TIMES Hanoi has opened a new exhibition and livestream sales space dedicated to Vietnamese products at No. 62 Trang Tien Street earlier this week to offer a fresh destination for both locals and tourists to explore, shop and experience domestic brands.

The initiative is a collaboration between the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Agency for Domestic Market Surveillance and Development, TikTok Vietnam and the National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (Napas) to showcase high-quality Vietnamese goods and connect consumers directly with local producers.

The 400-meter-long Trang Tien Street, which is one of the capital’s most upscale and bustling addresses, becomes the new space inviting locals and foreign visitors to discover premium Vietnamese products that rival those international names in quality and appeal.

According to Tran Huu Linh, Director of the Agency for Domestic Market Surveillance and Development, the domestic market is playing an increasingly important role in the country's economic growth.

"Establishing such a permanent space in the very heart of Hanoi marks an advance in domestic market strategies, bridging producers and consumers while fostering sustainable demand for premium local goods," said Linh.

The Agency for Domestic Market Surveillance and Development will supervise enterprise and product selection, and support the marketing for featured items.

The space is expected to become a cultural destination that honors the value, identity and quality of Vietnamese products, in favor of the program "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods."

Products are displayed at the "Vitality of Vietnamese Goods" exhibition and livestream space.

Named as “Vitality of Vietnamese goods”, the venue features an open and visitor-friendly layout that facilitates product discovery and direct interaction. All companies and items joining the program must pass a serious selection to ensure they are 100% made-in-Vietnam with fully transparent sources and origins.

Shopping sessions will allow on-site purchases at promotional prices and all payments must be processed cashlessly via VietQR to support modern and transparent retail practices.

Exhibition and livestream activities will run regularly, once every two weeks throughout the year. Each biweekly cycle lasts from three to five days, with a series of flexible and diverse activities, creating a fresh highlight and attracting consumers and tourists.

Beyond physical displays and direct sales, each biweekly cycle will feature livestreams and sales on the agency’s TikTok channel, enabling nationwide access, discounted purchases and home delivery through e-commerce integration.
