Hanoi urges to complete socio-economic development targets for 2017

Hanoi People’s Committee just released a Document No. 4445/UBND-KH&ĐT, asking Directors of departments, sectors of the city, Chairpersons of People’s Committee of districts, sub-districts and towns on enhancing the implementation of tasks and solutions to complete socio-economic development targets for 2017.

Under the Document, to complete the 2017 economic growth targets, City Chairman asked Directors of departments, sectors of the city, Chairpersons of People’s Committee of districts, sub-districts and towns to seriously implement Directive No. 11 / CT-UBND dated Jun 29, 2017, focusing on some specific contents:


Continuing to implement measures to improve the investment and business environment;

Removing difficulties for production, business;

Resolving thoroughly the recommendations of enterprises, especially in administrative procedures, public services, loan interest rates, procedures for tax refund, site clearance, bidding;

Removing difficulties in procedures for investors in all fields to accelerate investment attraction;

Boosting domestic and foreign investment attraction according to the list of projects calling for investment in the city;

Actively attracting and disbursing ODA and FDI projects;

Speeding up disbursement of public investment;

Seriously implementing the tasks in Document No. 2367 / UBND-KH & DT dated May 16, 2017 of the People's Committee of the city on speeding up implementation process and disbursement of public investment plan in 2017;

Reviewing the obstacles and difficulties in site clearance of each project which are being implemented;

Assigning responsibility to the leader, the staffs who are responsible for site clearance for each project;

Speeding up site clearance, reporting monthly to the People's Committee to timely remove difficulties and problems;

Continuing proactively and drastically implementing tasks and solutions set in the municipal People’s Committee’s Program No. 43/CTr-UBND dated February 24, 2017 on key tasks and measures on directing and managing the implementation of socio-economic development plans and state budget estimates in 2017, and the Government’s Resolutions No. 01/NQ-CP, No. 19-2017/NQ-CP and No. 35/NQ-CP;

Urgently deploying tasks and solutions which are outlined at the Document No. 2622/UBND-KT dated May 29, 2017 of the Municipal People’s Committee on some key solutions to complete the growth goals of 2017.
