Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Tran Sy Thanh stressed the view during a meeting with a delegation of Japanese policymakers and the EMS Medical Corporation on August 31.

At the meeting, Chairman of the EMS Corporation Yoshinori Matsuoka said amid the strong progress in Vietnam-Japan relations, the company has been pushing for the implementation of projects in Vietnam, especially in the healthcare sector.

In this regard, Yoshinori noted the EMS would soon build a medical center in Hanoi to provide high-quality services with the application of Japan’s most advanced technologies.

He expected to continue receiving support from the local authorities in implementing these projects and said that once completed, it would contribute to higher living standards for the locals, eventually contributing to the city’s development.

Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Tran Sy Thanh welcomed the efforts of EMS in particular, and Japanese companies in general, in contribution to the development of Hanoi.

Thanh noted there has been a growing demand for high-quality healthcare treatment from the locals and said the city would give favorable conditions for healthcare projects between the two countries.

Thanh hoped the working trip of the Japanese delegation to Vietnam would be successful, and further contribute to Vietnam-Japan relations.
