Hanoi Rock City, since December 2010, has been becoming an iconic venue, along with many others who witnessing the gasps and breaths of the capital’s music and art scene. Over the past 8 years, the scene of the venue has constantly evolving as well as experiencing its up and downs. Artists, together with HRC are the force, music is a passion, HRC and friends, artists, and collaborators have come together and been taking up a challenging journey with support of many beloved audiences.
In 2019, for whatever comes up next, we’ll sing, we’ll perform, we’ll dance, and we’ll collaborate and create more exciting projects…

The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam presents two nights of “J-Dance” show featuring 4 solo and duo dance pieces.
In Japan, there are many performances and festivals such as dance and theater. Their styles and contents vary, and many performers pursue their own way to express themselves. Until now, The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam has held various stage performances every year, including mime, contemporary dance, street dance, and non-verbal theater, etc. And this year also, in order to introduce the diversity of dance and physical expression in Japan, without sticking to a specific genre, we would like to introduce a show called “J-Dance”.
Five dancers, who are active in Japan and international festivals and also participate in oversea works, will be invited to perform 4 works represented by each style, such as contemporary dance and Butoh.

OKia Hanoi always wanted to join an art fair made by art students… but they never had the chance. Fortunately, they met Ms. Duyen – the ‘cutest’ lecturer have ever met and ‘allez’! After half and hour of discussion, Ms. Duyen and her students said YES! The result is the smallest art fair in the world named Factory of Youth taking place at OKia Hanoi.
Attend the mini art fair, you will see brand new artworks from future artists. They are students, but they are practicing making art everyday and they will bring out fresh. Applicable and practical artworks from young designers. Art become closer to reality, it could be an invitation card, a special designers for bags or boxes, small painting, hand-drawn calendar, unique ceramic, wooden painting, free-style embroidery. Join amazing workshop: watercolor & wooden painting for adults & children.

The 2018 International Food Festival will take place on December 9 at Van Phuc Diplomatic Compound, 298 Kim Ma, Hanoi. This is an annual cultural – charity fund-raising event hosted by the Service Department for Diplomatic Corps under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
With more than 130 booths of foreign embassies in Hanoi, NGOs, provincial departments of foreign affairs, local businesses, visitors will get to enjoy signature dishes from countries all over the world and from all regions of Vietnam. Apart from the cuisine, you will also have the chance to enjoy spectacular cultural performances of many countries, Vietnam included.
Time: Sunday December 9 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
