Hanoi’s leaders checked the water remediation process with European technology at the To Lich river’s section near the intersection between Buoi street and Hoang Hoa Tham street.
Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung and Vice Chairman Nguyen Doan Toan on June 2 inspected a section of the dying To Lich river treated with European technology, local media reported.
Half a month after Hanoi piloted Japan's nano-bioreactor technology in some sections of To Lich river, its water gradually changed from black to milk-white and the bad smell of the river was partly disappearing.
