The ceremony this morning was attended by officials from the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security, the Hanoi Capital Command, and local authorities.

This year, more than 4,400 young people in all 30 districts and town across Hanoi have joined the army and police forces. The number includes 84% for the military and the rest for the police, representing an increase of 11% in voluntary enlistment compared to 2024.

The selection and enlistment process in Hanoi is conducted fairly, transparently, and in accordance with the law. To ensure recruitment targets are met in 2025, the Hanoi Capital Command worked on the issues and helped raise public awareness of military service obligations.

This year, the qualifications of the recruits have improved, with 57% of them classified as health levels 1 and 2, 65% holding high school diplomas, and 26% having university or college degrees, supporting the goal of building a modern, efficient military force.
