Hanoi's Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association sets specific goals for 2024
For 2024, the association has outlined five pivotal objectives aimed at fortifying the organization and maximizing the use of resources.
Strengthening the leadership structure to consolidate and expand the body will be the first and foremost task set for the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association - Hanoi in 2024.
The plan was released last week at the association's annual conference to review the achievements of 2023 and unveil plans for this year in a relentless pursuit of greater achievements.
The event, attended by a full roster of executive delegate members, featured extensive discussions, including the establishment of new chapters in various sectors, with at least one new chapter to be launched within the year.

In the realm of promotion and innovation, the association will encourage creativity among its leadership and affiliated chapters. This involves active participation in events organized by the Central Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association and other city-level friendship organizations, coupled with timely recognition of outstanding contributions.
Communication and outreach efforts will be intensified, showcasing Hanoi's achievements through broad and in-depth friendly exchanges. The association will also focus on charity activities, mobilizing resources to aid the underprivileged and those affected by natural disasters while strengthening internal support and camaraderie among its members.
In the pursuit of peace and friendship activities, the association undertakes to actively carry out its functions and duties, such as participating in events organized by Hanoi's friendship organizations and the Central Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association and fostering exchanges and learning with friendship organizations nationwide.
According to Hay, the association must focus on its branches to create outstanding progress.

"Our association has numerous internal growth forces that have not been utilized", Dung mentioned in his speech.
Sub-chapters will not be overlooked, as the association vows to provide leadership and guidance for their participation in activities organized by friendship organizations. Encouraging sub-chapters to initiate innovative and effective friendship exchange activities is also a priority.
With a central focus on internal activities such as the restructuring of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee, the association aims to mobilize support from organizations and individuals for its activities. Furthermore, the quality of the Association's activities will be enriched through working visits, interactions, and exchanges with the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Associations in other provinces and cities.
