Taking place from September 21 to 25, the Hanoi’s Vietnamese Goods Exhibition 2017 is not only the opportunity for customers purchasing local goods, but also creates conditions fro enterprises in Hanoi and other provinces to connect and cooperate.

According to the Steering Committee of the campaign “Vietnamese gives priority to Vietnamese goods”, improving linkages in local products consumption is one of the important tasks of Hanoi in supporting trade connection between enterprises and consumption stimulation. The Hanoi’s Vietnamese Goods Exhibition 2017 has 300 booths of 200 local enterprises and manufacturers for foods, drinks and essential goods; fashion, clothes, shoes; electronic products. The exhibition also set aside space for the introduction of specialties from 30 provinces/ cities and safe agricultural products from districts and wards in Hanoi. This is seen as a solution to find output for local products.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Minister of Industry & Trade Cao Quoc Hung said, the attraction of more than 100 local suppliers and 30 credible distributors has proved the important role of exhibition in creating opportunities for enterprises and manufacturers of Hanoi and other provinces connecting for product consumption, promoting brands and expanding markets. These activities show Hanoi is one of the pioneer in promoting the campaign “Vietnamese gives priority to Vietnamese goods”.
In order for enterprises to sell goods, during the event, Hanoi Department of Industry & Trade, along with Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA) and other manufacturers, retailers will jointly organize the conference connecting supply – demand between Hanoi’s enterprises with other provinces/ cities. This event will support enterprises improving appearance design and promoting brands to customers. In particular, this event will contribute to the connection between farmer – scientist – enterprise – government, in turn support farmers’ products and other traditional craft villages in sustainable development.
The Chairman of Hanoi’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Vu Hong Khanh said, the exhibition will create opportunities for enterprises in informing, introducing and promoting products, in turn attract tourists, local and foreign enterprises to review the market and look for cooperation opportunities, trade promotion in production and distribution. Customers in Hanoi will have chance to access and buy high quality products with reasonable prices. At the same time, it is an opportunity for customers to identify good and credible products, which is a motivation for enterprises to increase products’ quality and reduce prices, in turn meet the consumption’s demand of customers in Hanoi and other provinces.
Statistics from the Hanoi Department of Industry & Trade shows, as of present until the end of 2017, events and activities to connect and improve local goods consumption such as “Hanoi Promotion Month 2017”, “Vietnamese Goods Selling Week” at districts, wards and industrial complexes are continued implementing. At the same time, Hanoi will push forward with programs connecting industry and trade activities between Hanoi and other provinces / cities.
