Addressing the tree planting programme held at Hanoi`s Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park on February 16, Politburo member and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan expresed his wishes that the Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park will develop becoming a creative destination where attract both domestic and foreign talents.

Politburo member and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan visited and launched a tree planting programme at the Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park in Hanoi on February 16.
At the event, VFF President Nguyen Thien Nhan stressed planting trees in spring has become a tradition in Vietnam which was initiated by late President Ho Chi Minh in 1959.
The tree-planting launching ceremony is very significant, aiming to educate young people on environmental protection, especially in the scientific-technological industry, Nhan added.
He called upon all ministries, sectors, organisations and people to continue planting trees to help ensure a sustainable environment.
Appreciating the park's results achieved in 2015, the VFF President suggested the Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park to develop the country's attractive destination to talents, turning into a centre of national and international wisdom and creation.
At present, the park has had 69 investment projects with a total registered capital of 55,395 billion VND covering the total area of 329 hectares. Most of projects operate in various fields such as software production and business, information technology, biology, medicine, electronics, and automation. The total of import and export value reached over 220 million USD.
