Hung Kings` death anniversary, also known as Hung King temple festival, will take place from April 4-9 in four provinces of Viet Nam including Bac Ninh, Quang Binh, Vinh Long and Long An.
Being one of the public holidays of Vietnam, this festival is for worshipping Hung Kings, those who make great contribution in building the country in its very first start. Death anniversary of the Hung Kings has the purpose of educating the young generation of Vietnam society about their traditional root.
Phu Tho province creates favorable conditions for people to participate in the festival. Hung King temple festival has been prepared meticulously such as ensuring security order, traffic management, food quality inspection and services control in and out of the Hung King Temple Relic.
The death anniversary of the Hung Kings 2014 promises to make a good impression on local as well as international visitors.
Unlike previous years, all the Hung Kings' festivals in four provinces will be held at the time of offering incense at Nghia Linh mountain in Phu Tho province at 7.00 on the 10th day of the third lunar month.
