Improving relationship between citizens and government officials
Promoting the influence in various fiels, recently, the youth union of Hanoi’s agencies has actively involved in the administrative reforms in agencies, which significantly contributes to the success of the socio-economic development tasks of Hanoi.
As such, the Youth union in Hanoi Tax Department has strived to improve the working relationship with tax payers, which is done through reduce processing time, and ensure every request is solved in a timely manner.
The Hanoi Tax Department has implemented activities in administrative reform, which is aimed to support enterprises and citizens. However, there remains difficulties from the policies and mechanism, which causing frustration to tax payers. In order to solve these problems, the youth union of Hanoi Tax Department has assigned young staffs to work at the one stop shop, who are having advantages of being energetic, high capabilities of technologies and friendly. It is aimed to support existing staffs at the one stop shop in speed up the processing time for tax payers coming to the tax department.
The friendly attitude and active in every assignment of members of the youth union at the Hanoi Tax Department have contributed to the efficiency of one stop shop department at the Hanoi Tax Department. Especially in peak time of receiving income tax request every year, 90% of young staffs from other offices have been mobilized for the one stop shop office, even at the weekend to reduce the work overload at this section.
Vice Head of the Accounting office Nguyen Tien Quynh, who is also the Secretary of the Youth Union at Hanoi Tax Department said, from February 27 to April 1, the Hanoi Tax Department has implemented “Month of accompanying with tax payer in tax finalization for 2016”. In response to this event, members of the youth union at Hanoi Tax Department have registered to the leaders of the Department to carry out “Youth union of the Hanoi Tax Department to be responsible for administrative procedures in Saturday, accompanying with tax payer in tax finaliztion for 2016”.
“In spite of working at Saturday, we are very happy when we receive in return smiles and appreciations from citizens and tax payers. This is an opportunity for the youth union to contribute its effort in building the good image of tax officials in citizens” – Quynh said. The Secretary of the Youth union at Hanoi Tax Department also said, this mentioned above model is a frequent activity in every year. Besides, the Youth Union also responsible for other tasks if necessary.
“In the process of working at the one stop shop office, we understand shortcomings at the section, so that all conversations and important tax policies discussed during our working time have been recorded and sent to other members of the youth union to improve efficiency in administrative procedures, with an aim to support citizens and tax payers” – Quynh added.
With responsibilities to complete designated tasks, the model of one stop shop and other events of the Youth Union of Hanoi Tax Department in related to administrative reform, modernizing tax department’s operation have significantly contributed to attain the political objectives and the administrative reform of the Tax sector. Leaders of the Tax Department has highly regarded the effort of the Youth Union. Through these events, the youth union has proved its capabilities in their profession, as well as to contribute its strength and capabilities to the events and campaign of the Youth Union.
