Int’l Finger-Style Guitar Festival 2016 to take place in Vietnam
Sixteen concerts of the second International Finger-Style Guitar Festival 2016 will be held in seven countries including Vietnam from June 29 to July 23.
The festival will start in Japan on June 29. It will then take place in the Republic of Korea (RoK), Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Malaysia and close in Singapore on July 23.
In Vietnam, renowned artists will perform including Andy McKee (the US), Huang Chia Wei (Taiwan, China), Masa Sumide (Japan), Tung AG (Vietnam) and Erica & Sandra (the RoK).

Two concerts will be held in Vietnam: the first at Youth Theatre, Hanoi on July 19 and Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music on July 20.
IFSGF has been held annually in Asia since 2010.
Fingerstyle guitar is the technique of playing the guitar by plucking the strings directly with the fingertips, fingernails, or picks attached to fingers, as opposed to flatpicking (picking individual notes with a single plectrum called a flatpick).
