Int’l renown artists join fine artworks expo in Hanoi

So far, Vietnam has been the only country in Southeast Asia seeing its artists creating imprinted artworks including interesting and innovative paintings using lacquer, silk as materials.

The “Fine Artworks of Representative Asian Artists 2019” exhibition, which kicked off in Hanoi on November 5, gathers many talented domestic and international artists, Vietnam News Agency reported.

The exhibition will last until November 25.

The special art event, held at the Vincom Center for Contemporary Art, will last until November 25 aiming to enhance the understanding, connectivity, unity, and cooperation among artists from Asian countries.

Art advisor of the exhibition Jorn Middelborg said that the artworks created by Vietnamese artists have based on the foundation of the country’s long-standing culture and indigenous values despite being affected by the styles and practical methods from France, Russia, and European countries.
