The Hanoitimes - The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a contract with Vietnam Road Administration (VRA) on July 1, for a project to improve road management and maintenance, worth US$4.3 million.
The project aims to help VRA to improve road maintenance by designing a modern information system to manage and monitor the entire national road network of a total length of 16,785 kilometers.

The project money in non refundable aid from the Japanese Government and will be implemented over a two and a half year period, beginning mid 2011.
