Japanese post-rock band to rock City

Mono, one of Japan`s most prominent post-rock bands, will stage their debut performance in Viet Nam on October 29. The event is part of their Asian tour supporting the release of their Rays of Darkness and The Last Dawn albums.

The band, formed in Tokyo in 1999, consists of Takaakira Goto (electric guitar, glockenspiel), Hideki Suematsu (electric guitar, glockenspiel), Tamaki Kunishi (bass guitar, electric guitar, piano, glockenspiel), and Yasunori Takada (drum kit, glockenspiel, synthesizer).

The band, formed in Tokyo in 1999, consists of Takaakira Goto (electric guitar, glockenspiel), Hideki Suematsu (electric guitar, glockenspiel), Tamaki Kunishi (bass guitar, electric guitar, piano, glockenspiel), and Yasunori Takada (drum kit, glockenspiel, synthesizer).

The band, which has released six studio albums, has toured Asia, Europe and the US.

The performance will begin at 8pm at the HCM City Conservatory of Music, 112 Nguyen Du Street, in District 1.
