Justice sector to strengthen information technology application in 2017

The Ministry of Justice has issued a plan on applying the information technology in 2017.

Accordingly, in the application of information technology to serve citizens and businesses, the Justice Ministry will focus on building and implementing a software to support its online law contest.  
The application of information technology in the public administration reform has always been considered to be the key measure to effectively implement the tasks of the Ministry of Justice in 2017.
According to the plan, it will develop and add the its information websites under the Justice Ministry, and provide informations to the Government's electronic portal.
Besides, the judiciary sector will provide online adequate public services at level 3 and 4 on the ministry's concentrated administration management software system, review and simplify its administrative procedures in order to deploy online public services at level 3 and 4.

The Ministry of Justice will focus on completing and using efficiently IT software applied in the ministry's agenies.
The ministry will also enhance safety and security for applications systems; and carry out the project of electronic civil status databases nationwide.
At the same time, it will promote the propagation and dissemination to deploy effectively applied online public services such as judicial records, registration of security transactions, legal support, and judicial procedures for adoption.
In addition, the Justice Ministry will focus on developing and carrying out projects of information system, specialized databases and national databases and information system.
Accordingly, the ministry is planning to implement the project of electronic civil status databases nationwide; improve the judicial management software for National Center of judicial record and Departments of Justice.
It is preparing to develop a management software for adoption, build a management system for children of Vietnamese citizens and foreigners, implement a pilot electronic database of information about debtors who are not able to make sentence enforcement, and set up a software to monitor the promulgation of legal documents.
