Lao People's Democratic Republic awarded First Class Medal to Hanoi

On March 27, authorized by the President and Prime Minister of Lao People`s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR), Mr. Sinlavong Khoutphaythounne, Member of the Politburo of the Lao People`s Revolutionary Party, the Governor of Vientiane issued the first-class Development Order of the Lao PDR to Hanoi for its contribution to the construction of the Vientiane Capital.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung emphasized that this is a precious recognition of the Laos Government not only for a specific bilateral cooperation project but also for the special cooperation between the two Capitals. At the same time, Hanoi Capital wishes together with Laos Party and State,Vientiane Capital continue to closely coordinate, exchange information and experience, mutual help in building and development on all fields to promote cooperation between the two cities in-depth. Thereby, promoting the development of each side, contributing to the stability and common development of Southeast Asia.
 



Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung stressed that the first-class development medal of the Lao People's Democratic Republic awarded to Hanoi for its contributions to the construction of the Vientiane Capital is one of the projects representing the good cooperation between Hanoi and Vientiane. This is a valuable recognition of the Lao State not only for a specific bilateral cooperation project, but also as an important milestone for the special cooperation relationship between the two Capitals.

On behalf of the Party Committee, the Government and the people of the Capital, through the Ambassador of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung expresses his gratitute to the Party and State of Laos for awarding the First-Class Medal to Hanoi.
