“Look! It’s Amadeus Vu Tan Dan” workshop - an artistic journey for kids

Children’s art workshops offer a dynamic cultural experience, introducing young participants to the vibrant world of contemporary Vietnamese art.

The children's workshop, entitled "Look! It's Amadeus Vu Tan Dan", is one of a series of 10 workshops organized as part of the Hanoi Festival of Creative Design 2024, which will run in Hanoi until November 17. The workshop aims to bring joy and creativity to young participants of the festival.

With a thoughtfully designed guide and a series of creative interactive games, the workshop entitled "Look! It's Amadeus Vu Tan Dan" offered children and their families an engaging journey to explore artist Vu Tan Dan's installation works at the Hanoi Children's Palace, one of the main venues for the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2024.

The art experience aims to provide children with engaging and creative touchpoints that connect them to the works and spaces of the Hanoi Festival of Creative Design 2024, while sparking their curiosity, fostering a love and appreciation for art, and highlighting the creative energy that thrives in the city.

In the workshop, children are guided by an engaging story as they take part in a variety of interactive activities, creatively exploring each giant sculpture. Through this journey, they will gradually uncover the personalities, emotions and appearances of the 'mysterious friends', and ultimately discover the magical pieces that weave together a modern-day story about the wizard Amadeus Vu Tan Dan.

The art experience and exploration activity for children are designed and curated by Education Curator Phuong Vu and Children’s Book Educator Pham Thi Hoai Anh.
The journey to explore the artworks of artist Vu Tan Dan is transformed into an immersive passage through a magical world.
In the story, the character Amadeus Vu Tan Dan has special abilities that allow him to travel through different spaces, times and cultures.
"Architectural Dream" by artist Vu Tan Dan comes to life at the Children's Palace in Hanoi.
The workshop offers children a chance to reconnect with their childhood memories and inspires exploration and creativity in young minds still brimming with dreams and curiosity about the world.
Children have the opportunity to explore art under the guidance of artists and educators from the Initiative for Creative Children's Book Content (ICBC) in Vietnam.
The workshop turns into a wonderful experience for children and their families.
