Manulife Vietnam throws its support behind 2021 Terry FoxVirtual Run

The event’s ‘One Day, Your Way’ motto also inspired more than 3,200 people from across the country to participate in the virtual experience.

Manulife Vietnam, a Canadian-based life insurance company, has continued its long-standing support for the Terry Fox Run by donating VND147 million towards the charity event, which this year also marked its 25th anniversary in Vietnam.

The Terry Fox Run is a non-competitive event held in numerous locations around the world each year in commemoration of Canadian cancer activist Terry Fox.

Held on Sunday 28 November and organised by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, the 2021 Terry Fox Virtual Run helped raise much needed funds for local cancer research.

With the pandemic forcing the event to go virtual for a second year, Manulife Vietnam again stepped up its support and participation with over 700 employees, advisers and family members taking part.

The event’s ‘One Day, Your Way’ motto also inspired more than 3,200 people from across the country to participate in the virtual experience.

“As many parts of Vietnam begin a return to the new normal, events such as the Terry Fox Run give the community a chance to come together for a good cause.
