40 contestants selected from northern and southern primary rounds will enter the final round of Miss Vietnam Beauty Pageant 2014 held in Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang Province from November 23 to December 6.
The organising board of the 2014 Miss Vietnam released the information at a press conference on the final Miss Vietnam 2014 held in Ho Chi Minh City on December 20.
The final round of Miss Vietnam 2014 themed "The appearance and the inner beauty of Vietnamese women always go with the charming beauty and the friendliness".
During the final round, the contestants will practice performance skills, and participate in meaningful activities such as visiting historical and cultural relics, promoting landscapes of Phu Quoc and charitable activities, and interacting with Navy officers and soldiers.
According to the organizing board, the finale based on a spectacular musical water show of Vinpearl Phu Quoc will take place on the evening of 6th December.
Besides traditional competitions including Ao Dai (traditional long dress), swimsuit, evening gown and Q&A section, an special art performance will be organized promising to bring many surprises for viewers.
A candidate who crowns the title of Miss Vietnam 2014 will receive a crown and an award of VND 300 million.
The first and second runners-up will take away cash prizes of VND150 million and VND100 million respectively.
In addition, the organizers will award the titles including Miss Talent, Miss Beach, Miss Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional dress), Miss Beautiful Face, Miss Perfect Skin, Miss Beautiful Hair, Miss Fashion and Most Voted Miss.
Each prize worths VND30 million.
