Mounting poetry generations

At a press conference on the 15th Vietnam Poetry Day taking place on February 8 in Hanoi, Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam Writers Nguyen Quang Thieu said: With the theme "Creativity together with the national", this year`s poetry day will be innovative in both content and form of poetry to link generations.



Like every year, the 15th Poetry Day coincided Lantern Festival at Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Literature Temple). The main activities of this year's poetry festival include: Execution poetry, performance poetry, poetry quiz, presented poems, autographs, poetry and so on, revolving around the question of content praising hometown, country, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, creative spirit, unity, national reconciliation, jointly building a rich and beautiful country.

Along with that, the poetry exchange program will attract participants from every part of this year, Vinh Phuc Province will introduce the art of pottery, ceramic products of Huong Canh; Hoa Binh promotion of cultural cachet alongside Muong Mo Muong gong set. The two provinces of Vinh Phuc and Bac Ninh also held for all the artists in Hanoi to attend, to response Vietnam Poetry Day.

In the localities, Vietnam Poetry Day took place in the historic district, scenic and educational establishments. Particularly in Thai Nguyen Province, Poetry Day will be held solemnly in Dinh Hoa safety zone, where 70 years ago, Uncle Ho wrote the poem "Lantern". Especially, in "The Poetry", Vietnam Writer Association will celebrate the admission of six young poets, it is unprecedented in recent years.
