The art performance La Nguoi Con Dat Viet Lan Thu 2 (To Be A Vietnamese For The Second Time) will be held at 8pm, Hanoi Friendship Cultural Palace. It is composed of three parts, namely National Melody, Oh Vietnamese Seas and The Nation Calls Its Name.

"The programme gathers the countrys leading musicians, singers and bands who will present songs on their motherlands seas and islands," stated musician Cat Van, chairman of the Associations Music and Media Club. "This further reiterates the everlasting values of Vietnamese music industry in this field."

Seas and islands have long been a great source of inspiration for generations of musicians, contributing to arouse patriotism and national pride among social strata.

The event will enable the audience to enjoy a series of compositions by noted musicians such as Do Nhuan, Tran Tien, Hoang Van, Trinh Cong Son, and young Le Minh Son, Ta Quang Thang among many others.

All proceeds from the tickets will be donated to forces who work offshore and their families.
