Must-visit tourist attractions in Hanoi's mountainous district

With topography ideal for alternative tourism, Ba Vi District in northwest Hanoi has become an increasingly compelling destination for domestic and foreign tourists.

Located about 60 kilometers from the center of Hanoi, Ba Vi District is one of the most prominent destinations on the outskirts of Hanoi, capable of stimulating travel demand to the capital.

Ba Vi National Park

Son Tinh Camp is a campsite near the center of Hanoi with a rather large area and untouched vegetation. This place has spectacular scenery in a fresh and pleasant climate and a good shelter in the scorching summer.

Located only about 50 kilometers west of central Hanoi, Thien Son-Suoi Nga Eco-tourism Area is in the middle of a forested valley with a cool climate all year round. At Thien Son-Suoi Nga, visitors will surely enjoy the heavenly clear air.

A tour of Thien Son-Suoi Nga involves exploring the three sub-areas of Ha Son, Trung Son and Ngoan Son. You can also camp here for a reasonable price of only 1,500,000 VND per night. Vietnam National Village of Ethnic Culture and Tourism

The Cultural Village of 54 Vietnamese Ethnic Groups is part of the Dong Mo Tourist Area in Son Tay Town, more than 40 kilometers from downtown Hanoi. This area is characterized by a variety of hilly landscapes near tranquil lakes and valleys.

The Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism has seven functional areas, namely Ethnic Villages, World Heritage Site, Culture and Entertainment Center, Marina Park, General Service and Tourism, Dong Mo Lake's Surface Greenery, and Management Office. Walking around the village, visitors can have fun and mingle with nature, especially the refreshing clear water.

Tien Sa Lake

Tien Sa Lake Tourist Area lies at the foot of Tan Vien Mountain in Tan Linh Commune, covering an area of 150 hectares at an altitude of 65-400 meters. This place is surrounded by a lush green forest of 120 hectares, a vast lake with an area of over 20 hectares, and a cool temperate climate. Visiting Tien Sa Lake, tourists will be immersed in the majestic and romantic natural scenery with highlights of bright yellow tree marigolds and bright pink bougainvillea.

There are also floating houses on the lake, where you can sit and fish or let your soul float to the rhythm of the waves. Young couples often hop on pontoon boats to have fun on the water.
