Double amputee and Australian motivational speaker Nick Vujicic returned to HCM City on May 20 to begin his Trans-Vietnam tour.

He will take part in a gala night at HCM City’s Phu Tho competition hall on May 21 and another similar event at Hanoi’s My Dinh national stadium on May 24.
His parents, Boris Vujicic and Dushka Vujicic, will also give speeches at the two events. They will talk about the stages that their family has gone through including the highs and lows from Nick’s childhood to present.
His younger sister Michelle Vujicic and his wife also join him in Vietnam. His younger sister is scheduled to sing at the gala night.
At a press conference in HCM City on May 20, Nick answered reporters’ questions concerning various aspects of life, including his viewpoint about the current Vietnam-China tensions in the East Sea.
He stressed that no matter where he goes, he always prays for peace, love and justice.
Nick noted that this is the time that Vietnamese people should unite, and only unity can help.
The Australian man also donated 100 wheelchairs to disabled people in Vietnam.
