Online knowledge contest on Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park launched
The contest aims to promote the image of the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, to visitors, particularly holidaymakers.
An online knowledge contest on the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park was launched with the grand prize being a VND136-million (US$6,000) tour to discover Son Doong - the largest cave in the world.
The information was announced by the park’s management at a recent press conference. Accordingly, the contest aims to promote the image of the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park to visitors, particularly holidaymakers, to boost tourism development in Quang Binh province.
The contest is held as part of activities to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the park’s recognition as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage. The contest is eligible for Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged from 14 to 70.
Accordingly, contestants can visit http://www.phongnhakebang.vn/cuocthi.phongnhakebang.vn to register for the competition with their personal information, and fill out the questions as requested on the webpage in the available languages of Vietnamese, English and French.
A total of 128 prizes will be granted to the outstanding entrants. The top two winners will receive one trip to discover En Cave or Va Cave and one night for two persons in Phong Nha House Resort with the prize being a VND20 million (US$889).
The five second-prize winners will receive one trip to explore Hamada Valley – Tra Ang Cave or Survival Valley and Aquarium Palace Cave and one night for two persons in Heritage By Night Hotel with the prize being a VND10 million (US$444), etc.
Winners will be announced on the website and notified via registered mail. The online contest is scheduled to run until December 31, 2018.
