Propaganda paintings cheer up Vietnam’s general election

Voting is the right and duty of every citizen.

A total of 15 prizes have been presented to 400 winners of the contest themed "Creating Propaganda Poster for the 15th National Assembly and all-level People's Councils Election, term of 2021-2026".

 The 1st prize belongs to painter Luu Ngoc Phan from Hanoi.

Accordingly, the propaganda poster with the message entitled “The 15th National Assembly and all-level People's Councils term of 2021-2026 election - the Festival of the Whole People” by Luu Ngoc Phan (Hanoi) was awarded the first prize.

The poster with the image of a smiling ethnic minority girl with a ballot in her hand by painter Do Trung Kien, a resident of Hanoi, was awarded the second prize. Meanwhile, the poster with the message “Voting for 15th National Assembly and all-level People's Councils, term 2021-2026, is the Right and Obligation of Every Citizen” by Do Nhu Diem, who came from the northern province of Thai Binh won the third prize.

Painter Do Trung Kien (Hanoi) won the 2nd prize. 

According to the organizing committee, most of the works have high artistic values and met the requirements.

Through images and messages, these works have vividly disseminated to officials, party members, and all people about the meaning and importance of the elections of the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, term 2021-2026.

“Voting for 15th National Assembly and all-level People's Councils, term 2021-2026, is the Right and Obligation of Every Citizen” poster by Do Nhu Diem (Thai Binh) won the third prize.

The posters also praised Vietnam's achievements in all socio-economic fields after 35 years of the renovation as well as the efforts of the government and people on the current fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

The contest was launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and run from November 9 to December 31, 2020.

Another poster by painter Do Nhu Diem from Thai Binh province.
The poster by painter Trinh Ba Quat from Hanoi.
The poster by Bui Van Minh Triet from the southern province of Tay Ninh.
