Vietnam General Statistics Office said that Vietnam received over 626,300 foreign visitors in September, up 8.3% against the same period last year.
In the first nine months of 2015, the number of foreign visitors to Vietnam reached over 5.68 million arrivals.
Vietnam's tourism sector witnessed a dramatic growth in the number of tourists from the Republic of Korea, with 59.2%, while those from Hong Kong (China) decreased by 17.3% and Singapore by 16.9%.
According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the nine-month revenues from the tourism sector reached more than 269 trillion VND (12.22 billion USD), up 2.8% against the same period last year.
