The contest is an opportunity for Vietnam and overseas who want to explore the special cultural value of the city express their views of Hanoi's beauty.
The competition takes place from January 4 to mid June, 2014. There are six subjects for the contestants involving cultural lifestyle of Hanoians such as cuisine, housing and historic cultural works, transportation, recreation and other activities .
Two forms of the contest that the participants follow are:
1. The organizers upload photos of Hanoi's sightseeing relics in the past. Participants have to capture colored images at the same site at present to show the changes of Hanoi over the period of time.
2. Based on the subject selected by organizers, the contestants take pictures of Hanoi from different corners.
The winning photos will be showcased at the art exhibitioon in October, 2014
