Photo exhibition on Vietnam Heritage takes place in Hanoi

As many as 100 outstanding photos selected from the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2014 has been showcased at Foreign Trade University from November 25 to 28.

The photos were on display at 9 exhibitions in locations such as parks, universities, libraries, education centers, resorts, etc.
 
 
The exhibition is organized within the framework of the 3rd Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards launched by Vietnam Heritage magazine in July 2014.
The organizers hope that the photos on natural landscapes, human portraits and people’s daily lives, festivals, traditional craft villages, ancient architectures, etc, will enrich students’ spirits as well as help them learn more about a historical significance of the Vietnam Heritage Day (23/11/1945).
The photo contest is an opportunity for photographers to express their feelings, emotions, loves of the country and share various stories about Vietnam’s heritages.
This year's competition continues to receive valuable spiritual and material supports of Canon – a world’s leading provider of imaging solutions and digital photography.
Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Heritage magazine Le Thanh Hai said that the Vietnam Heritage Photo Contest this year draw a large number of participations of both amateur and professional photographers. 
Thanks to so much supports, comments of judges, artists, photographers, managers, partners, and journalists, we hope that the contest will be more popular among young people, she said.
The value of the arts, the value of humanities and the value of the country's heritages through the art of photography will raise people’s awareness of discovering and preserving the original values of Vietnamese cultural heritage.
 
 
The photos are being exhibited at 20 tourist sites, museums and universities in more than 10 provinces and cities throughout the country.
