Popularizng public service application in the People

That is the direction of the Chairman of Hanoi People`s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung at the meeting of the IT Steering Committee. Participants included representatives of functional branches of the central and city leaders and departments of the people`s committees of districts, towns in the area.

Under the plan, there are 16 public services at level 3 to be expanded, including 10 online services at suburban district level (one service on issuing extracts from civil records, three services on issuing license for using pavements and roadsides, two services on issuing license for individual housing construction, and four services on issuing certificates for meeting requirements on public online video games centers), and six services at commune level at commune level (marriage registration, re-registration of marriage, registration of guardianship, registration for termination of guardianship, issuing certificate for marriage status, and issuing copy of extract from civil records).

In the first phase, 10 online public services at suburban district level will be implemented in 18 suburban districts and towns from July 15, 2017. In the second phase, six online public services at commune level will be launched in 416 communes and townships under 18 suburban districts and towns from August 15, 2017.

The People’s Committee requests units to prepare network facilities and equipments, data center, SMS center in order to connect online public services at level 3 and level 4 with city’s database of population; set up accounts, conduct training and guide officials as well as cadres to use online public service system according to the roadmap; prepare facilities and data terminal equipments to set up the online public service system; mobilize staffs and equipments to guide people when they process online dossiers.

Deputy Director of the Department of Information Processing (MIC) Nguyen Phu Tien said that Hanoi is the leading IT application to implement online DVC, practically serving people and businesses. "Many localities have hundreds of online DVCs, but no enterprise use. They only counted the number, not the number of online solving files," said Nguyen Phu Tien.
