Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received Lao Vice President Bounnhang Vorachith during his working visit to Vietnam in Hanoi on July 7.
Prime Minister (PM) Nguyen Tan Dung highly appreciated the outcomes of the talks between Lao Vice President Bounnhang Vorachith with his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Thi Doan, saying that the current visit will give new momentum to the time-honoured friendship and various-field cooperation between the two countries.
PM Dung hailed the comprehensive outcomes in bilateral cooperation such as in politics, diplomacy, trade, investment, culture, education, and defence-security, as well as at regional and international forums, practically benefiting both countries.
The PM urged the two sides to coordinate in the implementation of agreements reached by their leaders to achieve the highest results. Vietnam wiill do its utmost to support Laos in performing its role as the ASEAN Chair in 2016.
At the reception, Lao Vice President Bounnhang Vorachith briefed the host on outcomes of the talks with his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Thi Doan. He confirmed that Laos attaches special importance to its bilateral relations with Vietnam.
The Lao Vice President also wished to continue receiving the Vietnamese cooperation and assistance for his national construction and development.
He said he wants the two countries to continue promoting their all-round collaboration, especially in trade and investment, pledging to create the most favourable conditions for Vietnamese businesses’ long-term operations in Laos.
