Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung suggested the two sides continue to strengthen exchanges of visits at all levels, more priority to promote economic relations, trade, particularly in the rice trade, investment, tourism ; continue close coordination, cooperation on fisheries, science and technology, culture, security and defense. He affirmed that the Government of Vietnam always welcome, encourage and create favorable conditions for businesses of Philippine to invest long-term and effective business in Vietnam.
Minister Albert del Rosario affirmed that Philippines attaches special importance to development of cooperation with Vietnam in the fields. Also at the meeting, the two sides agreed to continue close cooperation in handling and processing of each country fishermen violating each other's waters on humanitarian spirit, the spirit of cooperation and friendship relations between Vietnam and the Philippines.
