Psychedelic Rock Music Night

Night of psychedelic rock music with COCC (Saigon), Spring.Fall.Sea (Bangkok) and two local bands Empty Spaces and SquidEye.

The night of 26/Feb is the night of psychedelic rock music with COCC from Saigon and Spring.Fall.Sea from Bangkok who will be playing along with 2 local bands – Empty Spaces and and SquidEye.
COCC (indie/psychedelic rock, Saigon) released their debut album “6 Giờ” in 2011. Their songs deal almost exclusively with the low-lives often overlooked in a modern money-worshipping society – kid beggars, cyclo-drivers, abandoned children etc. Played in Hanoi only twice before, this time they come with some new material from the upcoming release, which we’ll hopefully see in 2017 and a new member.
Spring.Fall.Sea  (post-rock, Thailand) was formed in mid/late 2015 in Bangkok after a long phase of hanging out, talking and getting inspired. Since then they recorded our debut EP “Deep Down, All Of Them Felt As He Did” and released a music video. Also they self-booked a long tour in Europe (including 24 shows in 5 countries) and were touring around South-East Asia during the last few months.
Empty Spaces  (psychedelic rock) were formed in 2013 and played a lot of shows in and around Hanoi (including 3 times appearance on Quest Festival) since then. After releasing their debut CD “Tiến Hóa” in the end of 2016 they made their first videoclip, which will soon be introduced to the public. Being under strong Pink Floyd influence, their songs sound like a psychedelic space trip with enchanting guitar/keyboard tunes and stunning vocals.
SquidEye (post-rock) is a new local band being active about a year. Somebody might remember their killer appearance on Quest 2016 stage with “flameophone” guest musician Stefan Zenuik from New York. There’s no any recorded material yet, but some live recordings are possible to find.
Psychedelic Rock Music Night will be performed on 26 Feb 2017, 7 – 11 pm at Rec Room, 20th floor, Hanoi Creative City, 1 Luong Yen Str, Hanoi.
