Quang Binh offers ticket discounts to some famous caves

According to the Phong Nha – Ke Bang Tourism Centre in the central province of Quang Binh, the discount programme on fares of 30% will be applied for the tickets to the caves of Phong Nha, Tien Son, and Thien Duong and last through the end of this year.

The central province of Quang Binh is providing a discount of 30% on fares for local cave tourism service.
The Phong Nha – Ke Bang Tourism Centre said that the caves of Phong Nha, Tien Son, and Thien Duong will apply the discount programme for the tickets from now until the end of this year. 
In the coming time, the provincal tourism sector will cooperate with all stakeholders to develop specific programmes to attract more tourists to the locality. 
According to the centre, thousands of tourists came to the Mooc spring and Chay River – Toi (Dark) Caves in the Phong Nha – Ke Bang complex, particularly in these 40 Celsius-degree hot days. 
Along with the fresh environment and beautiful landscapes, various adventure tourism activities are held in these sites to lure tourists, such as ziplining.

Quang Binh is home to the world natural heritage site Phong Nha - Ke Bang, located in Bo Trach district, with its unique system of caves and diversified ecosystem.
The locality also owns one of the longest and most beautiful beaches in Vietnam, beside numerous cultural, historical and spiritual tourist destinations.
The local tourist industry has developed greatly over the past five years. Many domestic and international media agencies and film producers have visited Quang Binh province to seek potential cooperation and investment opportunities. Especially, ABC Studios from the US, NHK Channel from Japan and the Hollywood producers of the upcoming blockbuster Kong: Skull Island recently have all visited the locality.
In 2015, the number of visitors to Quang Binh reached nearly three million arrivals, including 65,000 international tourists. The turnover from the tourist sector was over 3.3 trillion VND (150 million USD).
The province has recently attracted much investment from both domestic and international investors like FLC Group, Vingroup and the Truong Thinh Group to construct new golf courses, luxury resorts and sports centres.
Quang Binh province will be elevated into a tourism centre for Southeast Asia by 2020, according to the local authority.
Quang Binh is also planning to expand its airport to connect with more air routes to serve domestic travel. Besides the currently available routes between Quang Binh and the major cities of Hanoi and HCM City, the province will also open a route with Taipei.
