On November 25, BHD Co Ltd held a press conference to introduce film lovers to a new movie named “Quyen” by director Nguyễn Phan Quang Binh in Hanoi.
BHD Company has bought the copyright of a novel entitled “Quyen” written by Nguyen Van Tho and adapted it into a movie of the same name.
The film takes place during the turbulent period prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall.
The movie tells a story about a woman named Quyen who lives in the chaotic period of Eastern Europe.
“Quyen” is a painting depicting the tough life and fate of Quyen and men who love her in different ways during the hard time when she lives far away from her home land.
Tran Bao Son acts a role of Hung and Vu Ngoc Anh (top 5 Miss Vietnam 2012) acts a role of Quyen.
A Hollywood actor Gary Daniels who acted in “Expendanbles 2010” also stars in the movie.
The film marks the return of director Nguyen Phan Quang Binh after “Canh Dong Bat Tan” (Floating Lives), which debuted five years ago.
Currently, the film crew has continued filming the last scenes in Ho Chi Minh City with the hope of launching the movie on March 5th.
