The Russian Mosfilm Week 2015 is set to kick off on September 17-19 in Hanoi and September 21-23 in the central city of Da Nang, introducing Vietnamese audiences to the best of the Russian cinematography.
The film week is part of activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Russia.
Four films to be screened include two war-themed “On the Road to Berlin” and “White tiger”, comedy “Girl prisoner of Caucasus”, and drama “Ward number 6”.
“On the Road to Berlin”, screened at the opening of the film week in Hanoi, was nominated for the Montreal Film Festival’s World Competition category held from August 27 to September 7 and was awarded Ecumenical Jury Mentions.
All films will be screened with Vietnamese subtitles.
