The 2021 Sam Son Beach Tourism Festival began one week earlier than usual with high hopes of luring a large number of domestic tourists this summer.

Themed “Sam Son to take off”, the beach summer festival this year was jointly organized by the People’s Committees of Thanh Hoa province, Sam Son city and Sun Group. General Luong Cuong, member of the Politburo, Chairman of the General Political Department and Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan attended the opening ceremony.
Joining the 2021 Sam Son Beach Tourism Festival, which runs from April 24 to July 31, visitors will have chance to participate in a series of unique cultural, sports and tourist activities such as kite-flying, a motorcycle parades and art-shows on Saturdays and Sundays, among others.
The coastal city boasts beautiful beaches, enchanting landscape as well as many holy places and relic sites such as Truong Le Mountain, Trong Mai Island, Co Tien Temple, Doc Cuoc Temple, among others.

Throughout the last 110 years of founding and development, Sam Son has affirmed its position as a renowned summer travel destination. The beach city’s services quality has significantly improved in recent years, helping Sam Son's tourism to win the hearts of domestic travelers.
With rich potentials and advantages in marine tourism, Sam Son is now continuing to attract large corporations and enterprises to invest in sizable tourism projects.
Sam Son currently has 690 accommodation establishments with over 19,000 rooms and nearly 300 eatery establishments. As the Covid-19 pandemic is effectively controlled, Sam Son beach festival organizers hope a large number of domestic tourists would arrive this summer.
