Minh Viet Academy is a pioneering online school in Vietnam applying advanced American education programs with low tuition fees.
The US-based Minh Viet LLC (Minh Viet Academy) on July 6 launched a scholarship fund worth US$100,000 in the form of student loans to support Vietnamese pupils.

Through the Pete Peterson Ambassador Scholarship Fund, the company will provide Vietnamese people with the lowest travel cost to study in the US.
The company announced the fund on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of Minh Viet School and the first of Minh Viet Math School – the two members of Minh Viet LLC.
Students who wish to apply for the loan must have a minimum SAT score of 1,500 and study at Minh Viet for at least two years. The program is administered by Minh Viet Academy.
The academy will contribute US$5,000 directly to the student's university. The student will continue to receive loans until their graduation if they maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 (maximum of US$20,000 per student).
After that, the students will begin repaying their loans.
Minh Viet LLC was founded in 2019 by Pham Tuan Anh, best known as the interpreter for US President Barack Obama during meetings with Vietnamese leaders in 2015-2016.
Over the past five years, the training program has enabled some 30 Vietnamese students to study at American universities with scholarships from their schools.
