Second US – N.Korea summit: Vietnam Airlines offers free ticket for reporters
The program aims to promote image and people of Vietnam through the second summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un.

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and Vinpearl have partnered with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) to offer free air tickets and hotel rooms for reporters covering the second summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un.
According to the plan, all reporters holding a credential issued by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Information and Communications are entitled to join the program.
Reporters covering the second summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un will have a chance to choose domestic flight ticket from Vietnam Airlines and two free nights at Vinpearl five-star resort system, including Vinpearl Resort and Golf Nam Hoi An, Vinpearl Resort and Golf Phu Quoc, Vinpearl Resort and Spa Nha Trang, or just the domestic flight tickets. Reporters can register to choose the gift at VNAT booth in the International Media Center, No. 91 Tran Hung Dao street, Hanoi.
Earlier, Vietnam Railways has announced it will provide free train tickets for international journalists who registered to cover the DPRK-US Hanoi Summit Vietnam, which is taking place in the capital city of Hanoi on February 27 - 28.
In addition, VNAT also launched free tours for foreign reporters which include the Hanoi City tour and trips to Coffee Hanoi, Bat Trang ceramics village, and UNESCO world heritage site Hạ Long Bay arranged by prestigious travel companies Hanoitourist and Saigontourist.
