Siemens Healthineers enhance high-quality healthcare services in Vietnam

The partnership with Siemens will enable Hoa Lam Group to move forward with its plan to build an oncology and nuclear medicine center at the Hoa Lam Shangri-La High-Tech Medical Zone in Ho Chi Minh City.

Siemens Healthineers will provide advanced medical equipment and technologies in diagnosis and treatment in Vietnam in a strategic partnership with the Vietnamese Hoa Lam Group.

The signing ceremony held in Ho Chi Minh City on June 7 attended by Ms. Tran Thi Lam, Founder and Chairwoman of Hoa Lam Group (4th from left) and Mr. Fabian Singer, Managing Director of Siemens Healthineers Vietnam.

The two sides on June 7 inked a memorandum of understanding for a strategic partnership in the attendance of Ms. Tran Thi Lam, Founder and Chairwoman of Hoa Lam Group; Dr. Truong Vinh Long, Director of Gia An 115 Hospital; Mr. Fabian Singer, Managing Director of Siemens Healthineers Vietnam, along with several representatives from both sides.

With the signing of this partnership, Siemens Healthineers will become the technology partner of Hoa Lam Group in the field of medical imaging and support the diagnosis and treatment of diseases at hospitals and medical facilities under Hoa Lam Group with modern CT scanners, MRI machines, mammography machines, X-ray machines, among others.

Siemens Healthineers will also provide advanced technologies for cancer diagnosis and treatment, including PET/CT & SPECT/CT systems, radiotherapy systems, and CT simulators, among others. They will partner with Hoa Lam Group in the establishment and development of oncology and nuclear medicine centers.

Hoa Lam Group and Siemens Healthineers will also collaborate to standardize and enhance digital capabilities of the group’s hospitals and medical facilities. Siemens Healthineers will support Hoa Lam Group with general management consulting services to implement their digital transformation roadmap, offering various solutions such as artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist radiologists (breast mammography, lung CT, brain MRI), performance management solutions, and more.

Additionally, Hoa Lam Group and Siemens Healthineers aim to collaborate on research and promote programs to raise awareness and conduct cancer screenings (such as for breast cancer, liver cancer, and lung cancer) for the community.

Representatives of Siemens and Hoa Lam Group attend the signing ceremony.

According to Ms. Tran Thi Lam, Founding Chairwoman of Hoa Lam Group, the Hoa Lam Shangri-La High-Tech Medical Zone (Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City) is an investment by Hoa Lam Group with the aim of providing high-quality international-standard medical services. This initiative is aimed at meeting the increasing demand for medical examination, treatment, and healthcare among the people of Vietnam as well as other countries in the Southeast Asia region.

The High-Tech Medical Zone currently has two operational hospitals: City International Hospital, the first and only international hospital at the western gateway of Ho Chi Minh City, and Gia An 115 Hospital, known as a high-tech multi-specialty hospital pioneering the application of advanced techniques in emergency care, examination, and treatment. Hoa Lam Group is also advancing the project to establish an oncology and nuclear medicine center at the Hoa Lam Shangri-La High-Tech Medical Zone. The strategic partnership with Siemens Healthineers, a leading medical technology group from Germany, is therefore significant and in line with Hoa Lam Group's healthcare development strategy to enhance the quality of healthcare services in Vietnam

Mr. Fabian Singer, Managing Director of Siemens Healthineers Vietnam, expressed his delight in partnering with Hoa Lam Group to provide high-quality healthcare services, improve treatment quality, advance precision medicine, and promote digitalization in the healthcare sector.

Present in Vietnam since 1993, Siemens Healthineers has collaborated with numerous healthcare facilities to implement capacity-building initiatives and specialized training for medical personnel in diagnostic imaging. By signing a strategic partnership with Hoa Lam Group, Siemens Healthineers is confident in a long-term and effective collaboration, working together to develop the High-Tech Healthcare Park to international standards, and contributing to making Ho Chi Minh City a leading healthcare hub in ASEAN.
