South Korean music band will shoot reality show in Vietnam

“Twice” - South Korean music girl band will arrive in Vietnam late August to film portions of a reality television show titled “Carefree Travellers”.

On August 3, a source from JTBC revealed, “TWICE will be appearing on ‘Carefree Travelers’ as a full group. They will leave for Vietnam sometime in August”. Twice will experience a package tour in Vietnam to take a break from their busy lives and recharge. The air date is yet to be decided.
Carefree Travellers is a South Korean television program starring Kim Yong-man, Kim Sung-joo, Ahn Jung-hwan and Jeong Hyeong-don. It airs on JTBC on Saturday at 21:40 beginning 19 November 2016. From 24 January 2017, the show will air on Tuesdays at 22:50. The cast will travel around the world in the form of package tours alongside participating travelers.
This is not the first time South Korean television program chosen Vietnam as an attractive destination for shooting the show. On 2013, the cast and crew of “Running Man” were be embarking on a grand Asia tour of Macau and Vietnam. After stopping by Macau, the cast members have moved on to Hanoi, Vietnam, as pictures have emerged of the cast running through the Vietnamese capital.
Running Man is a South Korean variety show, forming part of SBS's Good Sunday lineup. It first aired on July 11, 2010. Running Man was classified as an "urban action variety"; a genre of variety shows in an urban environment. The MCs and guests were to complete missions at a landmark to win the race. The show has since shifted to a more familiar reality-variety show concept focused on games.
The show has become popular in other parts of Asia, and has gained online popularity among Hallyu fans, having been fansubbed into some languages by international audiences, such as English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Malay, Indonesian, Burmese, Arabic, Russian, Turkish and Filipino.
