Annual Spring Newspaper Festival is festival of press and is one of the practical activities to bring newspapers to readers and watchers. It helps authors listening to the opinions of the public to improve and enhance quality, help the Capital's press be always a trusted friend, and co-operated with the public."

Expressing his pleasure at the Capital’s Press Festival, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Journalists Association Ho Quang Loi shared: "Hanoi Spring Newspaper Festival 2017 is the very beautiful gathering of the Capital's and countries' press. This is a festival of the press, is an opportunity for journalists to meet and share joy together after a year of work and creative effort, contributing to build the capital and the country.
Attending Spring Newspaper Festival 2017, there are 23 booths of the Capital and Central press agencies, with hundreds of publications that are vividly presented, attractive, diverse. They are all creative products from press agencies. Coming to Spring Newspaper Festival 2017, readers and the Capital’s public will have the panoramic view of the outstanding activities of each press agencies in the past year; innovation and development of the Capital and Central press agencies.
At the opening ceremony of Spring Newspaper Festival 2017, Hanoi Journalists Association presented Hanoi Press Award of Ngo Tat To 2016 and Economic & Urban Newspaper won one second prize, one third prize and two consolation prizes.
The Spring Newspaper Festival 2017 will be closed on January 18.
