The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) has launched a photo campaign themed “Super Selfie” aiming to promote Vietnam’s landscapes and boost tourism.
The project is developed on the basis of advanced information technology and photography allowing photographers to take themselves distance photos with full view and their face.
The project is expected to inspire domestic and foreign tourists, as well as take the strength of the community and social networking to introduce Vietnam’s outstanding tourist attractions, thus increasing the identification of Vietnam’s tourism trademark, drawing more domestic and international visitors and boosting the country’s tourism.
Organised by the VNAT and VNTRIP Company, the campaign will last through the end of this year at iconic places in localities such as West Lake in Hanoi, Nguyen Hue Street in HCM City and My Khe beach in Da Nang.
Firstly launched in Hanoi from August 20 to September 4, a podium will be placed in Thanh Nien road, allowing photographers to capture the stunning views of Truc Bach Lake and West Lake.
After arriving in Hanoi city, the project will come to Da Nang and HCM City. The VNAT and VNTRIP Company will expand the project to other famous tourist attractions across the country in 2017 if it gets warm response from the community.
The campaign is considered a new step of the VNAT in applying new forms and social network for the country's tourism promotion activities.
