Swinburne Vietnam opens a new location in Da Nang

In Vietnam, Swinburne has enjoyed its fame as the university of champions of the “Road to Olympia” program for the past 20 years.

This November, Swinburne Vietnam is going to open a new location in Da Nang. This will be the fourth location in Vietnam of Swinburne University of Technology which is ranked no. 321 in the QS World University Ranking.

Swinburne Vietnam’s fourth location will be in Da Nang - a young city with enormous economic and intellectual potential.

With advancements in globalization and technological connectivity, now students can participate in international programs from their own homeland. This opens up new learning opportunities for young people in Vietnam who are eager to become global citizens.

In Vietnam, Swinburne has enjoyed its fame as the university of champions of the “Road to Olympia” program for the past 20 years. In 2021, all four quarter champions decided to enroll at Swinburne Vietnam and began their study at the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City locations.

Swinburne’s fourth campus will be located in Da Nang - a young city with great economic and intellectual potential. The new learning facility is expected to give young people in Da Nang and neighboring provinces more access to international training programs right in Vietnam.

For students whose study abroad plans are delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic, they can get a bachelor’s degree from an international university like Swinburne and have the opportunity to experience a practical-oriented education right in Vietnam at a reasonable cost.

Dr. Hoang Viet Ha, Director of Swinburne Vietnam, emphasized that the upcoming location in Da Nang aims to continue actualizing Swinburne’s vision of bringing success to learners in Da Nang and neighboring provinces. Upon graduation, students will receive a bachelor's degree from Swinburne University of Technology and be fully prepared to become global citizens around the world.

Upon graduation, students in Da Nang and other locations will receive their degrees from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia.

Students in Vietnam will have access to the same learning resources and the system as students studying at Swinburne’ campus in Australia. The quality of training is guaranteed to comply with the rigorous international accreditation standards of the Australian Government for universities.

Swinburne Vietnam is an international alliance between Swinburne University of Technology and FPT University to bring international-quality training to Vietnam. Swinburne University of Technology is currently ranked no. 321 in the list of the best universities in the world according to the QS World University Rankings 2022 and no. 258 according to the ARWU rankings 2021.

Swinburne Vietnam will start organizing campus tours and opening programs for parents and students in Da Nang and the Central region this December. Currently, final touches of the Da Nang location are getting done to welcome students who will graduate in the 2022 academic year.
