The ambassador stressed that it was President Ho Chi Minh together with Lao Presidents Kaysone Phomvihane and Souphanouvong who laid the foundation for the special solidarity between the people of the two nations.
The special ties have become a valuable heritage for the two countries, the rule for the existence and development of each country’s revolution and an important resource for their national construction and defence, he said.
Lao Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Sommat Phonselna expressed thanks to the Vietnamese Ambassador for his sharing of the President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts and morality.
Through the talks, officials and staff from his ministry have gained a deeper understanding of the late Vietnamese President as well as the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos, he said.
